Volunteering

The Homer Public Library does make use of volunteers from time to time throughout the year.  Please contact the director if you wish to volunteer for various projects at the library at 517-568-3450 or email hpl@wowway.biz.

The Library Memorial Fund and Homer Public Library Endowment Fund

The Homer Public Library has two funds that are used for future projects here at the library. 

Our Homer Public Library Memorial Fund is used for purchases that would be made in memory of or in honor of a loved one.  Donations can be made to the Homer Public Library and will be placed in this memorial fund for future use or if the family has a specific purchase in mind.

The Homer Public Library Endowment Fund is a fund that is held by the Homer Area Community Foundation.  Funds are placed in this endowment for future projects here at the library.  The library can only draw from the interest earned on this fund and a withdrawal can only be made (unless there are extenuating circumstances) once a year at the end on February.
